Speech, language and communication skills develop in everyday situations throughout the day at home and school. This is a workshop for staff working in Early Years.
By attending this course, we hope you will:
- Be knowledgeable about the ‘building blocks’ of communication development
- Feel confident in assessing Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN)
- Be able to identify outcomes for children from the screening tools around Communication and Language
- Feel confident applying the strategies to identified children
