Speech, language and communication skills develop in everyday situations throughout the day at home and school. This is a workshop for staff working with children in both Early Years and School Age.
By attending this workshop we hope you will:
- Understand Speech, Language and Communication development
- Understand how and why we communicate and the components of communication
- Develop some strategies in positively supporting a child’s Speech, language and Communication Needs (SLCN)
- Know where you can get more support in this area
